Hello loyal readers,
I have some exciting news and wanted you to be among the first to hear it.
Yesterday, I released the first episode of Belief in the Future (Apple | Spotify), a new podcast about religion and technology.
Typically this is where I’d explain why these two things go together, but if you’re a regular reader here you likely already know! In addition to Jello Menorah, I am hoping that the show is a kind of clearinghouse for these conversations, which at the moment show up haphazardly in all sorts of places.
I fell into the world of podcasting by accident more than a decade ago. I like the medium not just because it’s great for telling stories and conveying emotion, but because the inefficiency of listening to words (instead of reading them) actually gives you space to think and reflect.
I’ve produced many podcasts over the last decade, but this it the first one that I’m hosting. It’s taken a lot of work, which is the reason I’ve been posting here less over the last couple of months. I’ll be back to a regular schedule once the show is up and running.
So—take a listen to the first episode and tell me what you think. If you like it, rate the show—and if you really like it, tell other people about it!
That’s all for now. More soon.
